Anthony Bourdain’s show is my favorite on TV. I love his writing and narration and figured I’d pick up one of his books the other day at the local book mart. After dodging tables covered Jewish literature and Calvin and Hobbes compilations I found this book.
I’m about fifty pages in and I love it. It’s written in classic Bourdain style as he talks about how he delved into the culinary world. The book comes highly recommended.
For your next road trip, download the audio book. He reads it, and even if you’ve already finished it, it’s still sooooo entertaining. I think I’ve listened to it about five times through on various trips.

I guess i reminicse (i spelled it wrong, fuck off) about when i went to jamaica… had the best jerk chicken ever and got robbed… glad to say i went and i’ll never go back
